Keyword Stuffing

Keyword stuffing is the practice of inflating the keyword density on a web page by repeating the keyword on the page in an unnatural manner.
When a user performs a keyword search at a search engine, the search engine gives a high rank to web pages with high keyword density for this keyword. As such, some SEO practitioners attempt to trick search engines by “stuffing” web pages with specific keywords in order to rank higher for these keywords.
When search engines detect this, these web pages are often penalized or deindexed.
