Invisible text is text placed on a web page in the same color as the background color. In this way, the text is not visible to the naked eye.
It was an SEO method used in the past in which web marketers would load a web page with keywords in invisible text. The marketer’s goal was to try to trick search engines into ranking the web page higher in its search results for these keywords.
Search engines today can detect invisible text and these websites are penalized or deindexed.
