The Internet Archive at Archive.org is an excellent resource for a website investor. It is a non-profit online library which stores billions of historical web pages of content from billions of websites and can be accessed for free. The archive also stores music, photos, and public-domain books. Most of its data is collected by its web crawlers which seek out, collect, and store millions of web pages in its archive each day.

For a website buyer, it is a great tool to study the history and growth of any website. It enables the buyer to see what the website looked like from its launch to present date. This is a valuable resource when performing due diligence on a website.
