Cost Per Action or CPA in online advertising is when the advertiser only pays the website owner when a specific action is performed by a visitor to the website. This may include a visitor clicking on the advertiser’s ad, filling out the advertiser’s contact form and submitting it to the advertiser, subscribing to the advertiser’s newsletter, or purchasing the advertiser’s product or service. As such CPC advertising is a form of Cost per Action advertising.
