A chattel is personal property that is movable. As such, these are assets that can be used as collateral to secure debt financing. This is referred to as a chattel mortgage.

In website deals involving seller financing, the domain name or website is generally used as collateral for the loan. This is a form of chattel mortgage on these assets.
