AdWords

September 30, 2013  |     |     |   0 Comment

AdWords is the search engine advertising product offered by Google. Advertisers create ads and bid on keywords in order to have their ads displayed in the search results for those keywords.

AdWords offers pay per click (PPC) advertising as well as cost per thousand impressions (CPM) advertising in text, banner and rich-media ad types.

The AdWords ads are displayed on the Google search engine results page. And advertisers can opt to have their ads also displayed on the websites of publishers who have signed up to receive ads through Google’s AdSense and DoubleClick programs. In this case, the ads will be displayed on publisher websites whose content relates to the ad content.
