DoFollow Links

August 27, 2013  |     |     |   0 Comment

“DoFollow” is an HTML tag that tells search engines to follow certain links on a web page.

The tag rel=“dofollow” is included in the code with the link. This indicates to search engines to follow the link to the linked-to web page. Note that if the link rel attribute is not included, the link will be treated as dofollow by default. As such, the search engine follows the link and passes the link “juice” or value to the linked-to page.

This is the opposite of NoFollow links.
