Chartered Accountant

Chartered Accountant or CA is a designation conferred upon an accountant in Canada by the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants. The accountant must have an undergraduate degree, work experience, and pass an exam to receive this designation.

The Chartered Accountant designation is used by many other countries except in the United States. In the U.S., the equivalent is the Certified Public Accountant.
