Bargain Renewal Option

December 07, 2013  |     |     |   0 Comment

Like a bargain price purchase option, a bargain renewal option generally applies to domain leasing. At the end of the lease term, the domain name lessee has the option to renew the domain lease at a rate that is considered less than its fair market value.

The lessor would offer this option to the lessee to give the lessee the incentive to renew the lease agreement for an additional term.
